Framer is a no-code website builder that lets you design, build and publish a website on one visual canvas, with hosting, a CMS, analytics and an AI design agent built in.
It is best for designers, startups and marketing teams that want a custom-looking site without writing code. Paid site plans start at $10 per month (billed yearly), and you can start for free.

What is Framer?
Framer started in 2014 as a prototyping tool for designers. It has since become a full website platform: you design on a Figma-like canvas, and Framer turns the design into a live, responsive website with one click. There is no separate developer hand-off.
In August 2025, Framer said it had hundreds of thousands of active websites and about 500,000 monthly active users, and that 40% of the latest Y Combinator batch launched on Framer. Brands such as Perplexity, Miro and Mixpanel have launched sites on it.
Note: Framer, the website builder, is not the same as Framer Motion. The Framer Motion animation library became an independent project called Motion in November 2024.
